Annual Giving
With your support, each year we are able to fund unique and innovative approaches to learning. Annual gifts provide funding for classroom innovation, special needs, musical enrichment and artist-in-residence grants. Your donation at any level is appreciated. Donations are cumulative and once you have reached $5,000 you will be recognized as a Lifetime Member of The Highland Foundation. To make a pledge, please see details on our pledge form. For more information, please email The Foundation at highlandfoundation1@gmail.com.
Planned and Deferred Giving
Please contact us if you wish to include the Highland Foundation in your
long-term financial planning. A number of alternatives can be considered:
- Outright Gifts: Cash or long-term appreciated stocks or securities, often matched by the donor’s employer.
- Deferred Gifts: Bequests, charitable remainder trusts, term trusts, gift annuities, life insurance policies can be bequeathed to the Foundation for general or specific use upon direction of the donor.
- Incremental Gifts: Gifts can be planned in advance to be paid over a specified period of time as deemed by the donor.
- Special Gifts: In conjunction with special events, a donor may underwrite a specific event or project as approved by the Foundation.
- Memorial Gifts: In honor of a deceased relative, friend or educator.
